The CyberKnife® System is cleared by the FDA to treat tumors and lesions anywhere in the body. With revolutionary precision, CyberKnife is able to spare healthy tissue while destroying the tumor with highly targeted radiation.
Indications
• Lesions adjacent to radiosensitive structures • Complex-shaped lesions • Previously irradiated lesions precluding further external beam irradiations • Recurrent surgical lesions • Lesions requiring difficult surgical approaches • Patients who are too frail for surgery, or who refuse surgery
*Note: Not every patient is a candidate for CyberKnife treatment. Please note that before a patient is accepted, the treatment team will hold a case conference to review medical history and imaging studies to determine the patient's eligibility.
